The Kika Sprangers Large Ensemble features some of the most outstanding soloists of the Dutch jazz scene and
represents the unique and strong sound of the young yet settled jazz musicians of the country. However Sprangers herself stands out in composing for this chamber jazz line-up, which includes the perfect blend of vocals with saxophones, bass clarinet, flute, and French horn, she is not scared to make space for the momentum where the musicians can let their improvisation skills flourish. The ensemble releases their new album (In)finity with a release show in Bimhuis December 7th 2024.
