Alto For Two is the new project of the most creative, young saxophonist of the European scene. Kika Sprangers and Irene Reig (Barcelona, 1993) work together and creat a program with only own compositions. The form a quintet together with Xavi Torres (piano), Thomas Pol (bass) en Sun-Mi Hong (drums).

These two performing composers with both a strong artistic vision have their roots in the jazz tradition. They have developed a fresh, unique sound where they differ from each other, as well as finding their musical overlaps. Alto For Two is a challenging combinations of two alto players that formed their instrument and their excellent own way.
